stephen kellogg would have made a lot more sense a few years ago when he was a quirky, folky solo act instead of a cookie-cutter college rock band.

but it's nice to see some new-to-frff names among all the efo and gandalf nonsense.

Stephen isn't quirky any more? Boo. He always had the rock band even when we first saw him. Does he still have Rellogg?

I never had the chance to see Stephen Kellogg solo, but I've always enjoyed the whole band shows.  Is the benevento-russo duo rumor for real?  Drums and synth/organ/keys is not something I would expect to see at FRFF.

no, way back when we saw him open for voices on the verge he was solo. just him and the guitar and the kazoo and rellogg.

For serious.  Have you seen the monastic woodcuttings that depict EFO playing FRFF 1473?

That is how we saw him but he also but that was because he was on the road with Voices on the Verge. He also did band shows. I'm not sure if they toured with him. When he does band shows he has lots of teenybopper groupies. Of course VotV were his groupies too.
