Or something.
sheryls · 18 years, 9 months ago
depends. do you mean nookie from a coworker or physically located AT work?
Andrea Krause Back · 18 years, 9 months ago
Yeah I wondered that. But since my answer is no either way...:)
nate... Back · 18 years, 9 months ago
nookie from a coworker is frowned upon.... no dipping your pen in the company ink!

:)
sheryls Back · 18 years, 9 months ago

hrm, too late! i not only dipped, istole thebottle and took it to Massachusetts :D

eta: i always heard it as "dont get your meat where you make your bacon."

Michael (foof) Maki Back · 18 years, 9 months ago
Heh. My friend Yvette always told me "Don't get your meat where you get your bread."

It's apparently widespread wisdom.
sheryls Back · 18 years, 9 months ago
well it complicates things a bit. ie, in my example, my boyfriend left the company for MA and they lost 2 employees :P

I was a camp counselor at an overnight camp and, needless to say, there may have been some hanky panky. But at what level is "nookie"? Is that straight up everything first base and on, or do you have to round home?
Rimbo Back · 18 years, 9 months ago
I second this question.

Wait a minute . . . which camp did you work at? Uh oh.
Gordondon son of Ethelred · 18 years, 9 months ago
A student offered once in return for an A. I declined.

At the workplace, I mean... and yes, I have.
dirty life & times · 18 years, 9 months ago
i have had nookie at my current workplace, i.e., at home.... also at someone else's workplace.

but never in a place that was my work & a proper workplace.
nate... Back · 18 years, 9 months ago
but the question remains... what do you consider to be "nookie"?
dirty life & times Back · 18 years, 9 months ago
i think if you truly feel in your heart that it was nookie... that's good enough.

(oh god... remember the virginity poll?)
nate... Back · 18 years, 9 months ago
haha
o man, yes I do. :)

but I figured perhaps nookie had a concrete definition.

I should know better than to expect that around here. *grin*

am I the only one who is:

A: pretty disturbed by the third option...

and

B: even more disturbed by people having voted for it?

:D

The benifits of working at a park and haveing the girlfirend visit. means nookie on the slow days. And I always heard it "Don't get your honey where you make your money"
renita · 18 years, 9 months ago
a friend of mine taught english online, it involved microphones and students would show up and he'd direct conversation.

well, he did this from home, and one day the students were very good about conversing amoungst themselves, and his girlfriend happened to be there...

anyway, his first thought after was, man--i got paid while i was doing that. bonus.
Phoenix Back · 18 years, 9 months ago
I hope he switched off the microphone before ...

as the story goes one of the doctors that worked at my place (before i started) got caught in the x-ray dark room with one of his assistants - details were left to the imagination. Needless to say, both doctor and assistant were not around for much longer. Scary thing was, he was the kids' doctor - ew!
