In honor of the record setting snowstorm that just hit the North East lets talk about snow.
How do you feel about snow? Do you love it? Do you hate it? Does it depend on the timing?
I love snow as long as I don't have to drive in it or shovel it. Walking in the snow is wonderful. Playing in the snow is so much fun. It looks beautiful. The effect it has on sound sound beautiful.
I like to look at snow. I hate to drive in it, or shovel myself out of it, or any of that jazz. Plus I hate cold.
I miss building forts though. This depth of snow is perfect for fort making but I'm too old and creaky and busy. :)
Forts are fun and snow men too. One years when I was a kid it was so cold that my snowman lasted for most of the winter. There there was the time I put the hat on the snowman and it started running around the town.
My Favorite part about it is walking in it while it's still falling at night. Everything is so quiet.
As a child i used to LOVE playing out in the snow and sledding and building forts and all that stuff. Now my saying is "I'd like the snow more if it wasn't so damn cold!" ( i dunno..i guess when your a kid your just immune to cold). I really hate cleaning my car and drivway in the morning - unless it's a saturday. But i still get that kid-ish excitment at the thought of perhaps getting a snow day if we get slammed. In my adult life that has only happened once and that was for ice and not snow so i don't know if it counts.
The truth is out. You are the White Witch of Narnia. Under your rule it will always be winter but never Christmas.
Weren't you the one leading the anti-summer charge? I'd think you be thrilled at this revalation.
Nope, I like the changes of the season. I want all four.
*seconds the banning summer emotion*
i love snow. so much. i don't even mind shoveling. when i am old i will buy a jeep or something so i can be like one of my teachers and go out driving in the snow at midnight, when it's snowing and there's no one on the road. :) but.. yeah.. *loves teh snow*
The thing I miss most about the old Gordonmobile, the Plymouth Laser, is how well it handled in the snow. It had really wide tires and great handling and made its way through the snow as deftly as a snowshoe hare.
Not in the hills where I lived! :) (I had a mistubishi eclipse which is the same, right?) Poor thing always had a beast of a time getting up my hills in snow.
It is the same car but perhaps not the same year or the same tires. I got the option with the big tires, they made all the difference.

All precipitation is evil. The first snow of the season is fine on the first day... after that, it's old.
Autumn is the best. You must first create an account to post.
