It was between hands on science and natural history for me. I'm a a member of the American Museum of Natural History and I might have been there more than all other museums combined so that's the way I voted. Fine art is close behind. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is the museum I've been to the second most.

I also love weird museums like the Mudder museum of Lewis and Clark slash in Philly and the even weirder Freakatorium on the Lower East Side of New York.

i love art museums. good thing, too, being an art student. but my favourite art museums have fine & contemporary art. (depending on the definitions of each of those categories.)

Those distinctions were tough. I figured the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Boston Museum of Fine Art were clear enough but the rest are a little grey.

...in San Francisco was the coolest place to visit.

My museum experience is, like, quintupled when there are buttons to press and things to DO. :)

I forgot to mention another favorite, The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. It is one of the sacred places.

This really depends on my mood: either natural history or Fine Art. I love the AMNH & MET in NYC and the MFA in Boston.

I thought it was the Mutter museum... although i could be wrong.

I can't choose.... I love fine art museums, Philadelphia Museum of Art is great, as is the Rodin museum nearby. Yay The Thinker. I've been to the Barnes Foundation twice, and it's incredible.
Then again, though... MoMA was a lot of fun, the short while I was there. I like modern-type stuff a lot as well.

The Franklin Institute is a lot of fun, but growing up around here means I've been there a gazillion times, for school related stuff and otherwise. And Academy of Natural Sciences, dig that as well.

However, I love history stuff as well, especially with all the American Revolution type stuff around Philly. The National Constitution Center is fairly new, and is a really cool place to visit too. There's an exhibit on Ben Franklin that just opened, I want to go see it over winter break. Independence Hall and Franklin Court are also cool. Not in Philly, but Washington's Crossing was also awesome.

....I think I just like a lot of museums. :)

I thought it might be Mutter. I knew it had an umlaut but I was too lazy to put it in.
