This is the only place I hang out online that I would really consider a community.
If you count reading my friends list, I might spend a bit more time on live journal, but to me that's more a tool than a community. If anything, it's an extension of this community (and some other assorted friends). There are some other places where I lurk, but since I never post there, they're not communities to me. They might be (or, really, are) communities for those who use them as such, but not for someone who is a permanent observer. It's the same way an academic journal might have a few groups of professors arguing with each other in each issue. For them, it's a community, but for the casual reader, it's something more akin to a newspaper.

But in terms of other message boards, you'll find me mainly at mikeportnoy.com (Drummer of Dream Theater) which have some very intelligent discussions and not just on music, and scarletnation.com, the message board for Rutgers fans, which is a very happy place right now.

I spend most of my time here and on LJ, but to a lesser degree, I frequent the Dar-List (and Dar Chat), the Girlyman boards and TARflies (a site for Amazing Race fans).
Say three Hail Murrays and all is forgivin.
yeah, I'm actually surprised that you haven't joined the girlyman boards. There's a lot of catching up to do there on some of the newer fans.

RAS forums. LPTJ forums. Both about music. Mind you, I only really post on RAS. ... as there's only like. Five active people.
Ever. ... is that a community? You must first create an account to post.
