i played basketball from sixth to eleventh grade. i was also not at all skilled. but we were a teeny tiny school & could barely make a girls team even though everyone who wanted on the team was accepted.

Tennis is the dopest sport ever, for playing and watching. No mucking about with teams and all that...Just you against the world, baby. More like real life. Plus, when you watch tennis, there are almost NO DOMESTIC BEER COMMERCIALS. How great is that?

I enjoy swimming, indoor climbing, and sometimes playing soccer or Ultimate Frisbee. Or bowling. If that's a sport.
I enjoy watching swimming, soccer, frisbee, hockey, basketball, lacrosse, and sometimes baseball. I don't ever really go out of my way to watch sports (with the exception of the 2002 March Madness tournament and the 2004 World Series - go Sox!), but I do often have fun being a spectator if that's where going with the flow takes me.

I live for the water. Mmmmm...
My favorite story involves me being fully clothed doing lifeguard training in 55 degree weather in a lake (which was actually warmer than the air at the time). Ask me sometime!

I think I'm the only one who voted soccer. Go me. I'm starting my ninth soccer season this fall, and my third season on the boys travel team. Then, most likely my third season of indoor soccer this winter.
I've played lacrosse for the past two years. I like it, I'm just not that great. (however, i made the school lacrosse team and not the soccer team. go figure.) I enjoy watching soccer when I can, but I don't have cable so it's usually all blurry and in spanish. I'll watch almost any sport and enjoy it, i just don't go out of my way to do so.
on the subkect of "soccer", whoo. It's still weird calling it soccer, we call it football over here and call football "american fotball" and it's the main sport here,it's fun for a kickabout and great to watch, particularly on a night out in a bar whihc has the cable only matches. For sport to do myself it has to be swimming or climbing though, but I don't think you would have been the only vote for soccer if it was say a poll of my street rather than a poll of fruheads, though at the moment everyone is ery excited by the cricket.

tennis is awesome. i played 2 years on my high school varsity team at first doubles. and i got asked to play at college but i hurt my knee. so that got rid of my softball and volleyball too. stupid injuries. sports are awesome. i like to play everything except like swimming... i suck at that.
beach volleyball is the best sport to watch tho.

I played football and baseball as a kid, but that dried up before I hit my teens. The football coach wanted me to play in HS, but I decided against it.
As a spectator, basketball and volleyball at the amateur level, baseball, football, and hockey at the professional level. I used to do it for the pictures, now I just do it for fun. Tennis is awesome, but I can't play as well as I'd like, and it's boring as sin on TV. I wouldn't mind seeing an event live though. You must first create an account to post.
