It's got Dar! It's got meeeeee! (It's got a kickass playground in da woods!) :D
You beat me to it. Lets pretend it doesn't have me, maybe that will get people to go :-)
It also has cabins and real bathrooms!
We're thinking of coming for one day of SMAF and having a family picnicky thing. And we'll definitely be at FRFF.

we'll be at frff if we can, because i'd hate to miss it.
i'm only going to smaf if i actually get accepted into the new artist showcase (hahahahahaha). appel farm, no. clearwater, no. philly, singer-songwriter, no, no. other than that, we'll probably hit the american music festival and the chicago folk & roots festival here. and whatever street festivals have good lineups.

in no chronological order whatsoever:
Falcon Ridge, Boston Folk Festival, Campfire Festival over Labor Day weekend (that's indooors :D) and maybe Newport (depends on lineup) Oh and I've always wanted to go to a Canadian folk festival but that won't happen this year. But Winnipeg next year sounds like a good plan ...

Pity those of us who spent so much money going to a different continent for a folk festival last year that we have no money for any festivals this year, and only get to spend a lousy week in their boyfriend's dad's villa in Greece. ;p
oh poor you, you get to go to Greece!
Well I bet there are lots of cool festivals in the UK this year. :) Well I bet there are lots of cool festivals in the UK this year. :) There are but I'm blowing all my money on going to see bands up close in sweaty clubs instead, as it often rains in a cold and damp way, with mud and no sun to make up for ir as at FRFF. I think after that I can't go to another festivla without that kind of atmosphere. Some of the Spanish music festivals look pretty cool though, and there are cheap flights if you book early...hmmm

Mariposa definitely and then I have to choose between the Burlington fest, Perth, Ottawa and Hillside in Guelph. I'm probably going to at least one day of the Guelph fest, maybe the whole thing if I end up volunteering.
