This just in Paul and Storm are playing FRFF!
They won't be the funniest performers. Modern Man are playing too. If you haven't seen them mark off their time on your schedule and make sure you do. They don't get any funnier.
that isn't just in, that's old news we've discussed already.
I work with Storm's sister.
*bounces off to play with bunnies*
This also just in. Paul and Storm stop being funny after two songs.
two songs? that's being generous.
That isn't true, yes they don't vary from show to show but that show is funny.

They're not as funny as DVN granted. But they're so adorable you can't help laughing along with them. And they're good people to boot, and that's high praise.
> um. considering the thread is ABOUT paul and storm...
I thought it was about funny men at Falcon Ridge..

Since when did dumping on Paul and Storm become such a popular sport. They are not as good as DVN they are still good. Some of you were quite friendly with them, would you say to their faces what you said here?
I work with Storm's sister.

exactly. thank you, leah. i like paul and storm a lot as people, and i think they're very talented. but i'm disappointed in the direction they've chosen to go with their songwriting, and i don't think it's the best work they could be doing. which. is just my opinion. *shrug*
There is a difference in being critical and just being insulting.
Have you seen them as a duo?
exactly what i'm wondering.
(and, no, i haven't seen them, because i find their songs as a duo to be extremely sophomoric and unfunny. so why would i pay money to see them in concert?)
There's a difference between saying that you don't like them so much and saying what you said. There is such a thing as *tact* you know. COnsidering that they know some of you, what do you think they would think if they read what you wrote? Or does that even matter?
I made a statement of my opinion, which is that they really stop being funny after two songs.
But no, it doesn't really matter. They don't really know me other than in the context of their (DVN more than P&S) shows, and I don't particularly care if they like me or not. They've never been my close personal friends (and to be honest, I've never been able to talk that easily to either of them - Bernie and Rich are much easier for me to talk to) and they never will be. It's not like I'm sacrificing anything by being critical of the work they do. I mean, really, you should hear me talk about Adam Brodsky some time. :) you know, renita, that is such a matter of opinion. I really enjoyed reading the "verbal" volley of insults and people getting offended because they wanted to. I laughed as I read the sharp words taken in the wrong spirit. In fact, I'm offednded that you though it was unpleasant. who do you think you are to judge those comments as unpleasant? who knows how many people your one little comment has offended? *shakes head* *sigh* honestly. [/drippingsarcasm] [krisbashing] bring it on
well, *i* got it. :)
a joke. hee. humor. funny. poking fun at seriosity and anger and umbrage. yay! no, but there's a scary scary new headmistress at Hogwarts. oh, wait. she's gone now. *relief*
um, the point of jokes is frequently to be funny.
Jian obviously. We all know that Jian kills cats.
perhaps it's a special way of killing
"Fruvous" is a setting on some older Swedish blenders. Thus, to "fruvous the cat" suggests Death by Smoothie. Wasn't that a movie with Robin Williams?
"Tons of Panache" would be a great name for a Fruvous cover band.
If it were my band it would be "tons of pa-nash"
i thought that would be measured in litres.
still a good plan, though. :D You must first create an account to post.
