So did anyone do the 100 books in one year challenge? If so, what did you read?
Anyone planning on doing it next year?

book challenge?
I wouldn't want to go for quantity, but I'd love to see what I read over the course of a year. Just reading as quickly as possible would be icky, I agree.
I see what you're saying, but I like the idea of having a goal, because if I don't, I'll go 2 or 3 months without reading a book. I'm usually done with a book in a few days, so it's not like I'll be rushing through to get on to the next book.
I'm doing it, not so much for quantity but just to keep track of what I've read, and more importantly what I've liked or not. I'm in the mid-60's for the year I think. I've kept my booklog on lj at http://www.livejournal.com/users/biblio.

what is it? where is it? 100 books? Keeping track of that would be grand!
heh. I was actually looking for a site dedicated to it, but the only one's I found were for school age people.
Basically the rules of it are 100 books, starting January first ending Dec. 15th (not sure about the dates). They shouldn't be fox in sox or go dog gotype books. Ben (my brother) like's to throw in asummary of the book, I don't think that's required, but we both like to talk everyone into reading whatever we're reading, so that's handy. If I happen upon the site, or if anyone knows what I'm talking about would you post it here?
there's at least one lj community dedicated to it, too.
this was the first year in a while that i didn't track the books i read, and i really wish i had. i don't know if i read 100, but i read a lot and i'm afraid i'll forget about some of them. You must first create an account to post.
