How often do you reread books? Are there any books that you have read many times?
There are some books that I reread at least every few years:
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns I want to add Transmetropolitain to the list, but I couldn't because of time and now the story hits two close to home.
i reread my books whenever i feel the need to do so, like if i get a new addition to the series (as long as it has been at least a year or so since the last time ive read it) or if its part of my favorites (lotr, foundation, myst)
The Hitchhiker's Series
Any Vonnegut books I have Stupid Christopher Pike books, particularly Remember Me Ummm...I dunno. I used to reread a lot when I used to read a lot...my time to read outweighed my reading material. Now it's the reverse so I'm lucky if I get around to reading, never mind rereading. "Two Moons In August"-Meredith Brooks (maybe...the name is escaping me currently) omg, reread things i like constantly. Entire harry potter series, beginning to end, at least 6 or 7 times (save OotP, which i've read thrice). Entire Hitchhiker's Guide series, couldnt tell you how many times. when i was little i read Hatchet and My Side of the Mountain obsessively. and The Laugh Book, over and over until i knew all the jokes. I've read The Hobbit many times.
Books I reread often (which means every couple years or so):
The Small Rain, Madeleine L'Engle (I can't express enough how much I adore this book) Pride and Prejudice Harry Potter - those I don't reread all the way through as often as I pick them up and read a chapter at random Books I have reread, and may again at some point: To Kill a Mockingbird Cyrano de Bergerac other books from the Austen canon
I've reread Cyrano a number of times. Sometimes I just go and read his death scene. I always find it moving.

Ender's Game and Snowcrash are my two major rereaders. I've read Ender's game four or five times. I read Roald Dahl's Matilda six times when I was younger.
oh, oh OH i love Matilda!! the movie was... dissapointing. good casting and all but they changed too much of what i loved about it. actually, i just love Roald Dahl. i reread the witches so many times that my cousin wanted to read it, and it scared her so bad she cried ;) thanks gella. now i want to read matilda again :P good thing i live like 10 steps from Thackeray's...
