Character Flaw

Which character flaw in yourself would you most like to correct? Mine is procrastination. I should be making up a test right now, not starting a forum.

Uh, only one??

Well if I can only correct one character flaw, and I can't decide which most needs fixing...how about I correct the character flaw of "being utterly useless and unable to function smoothly in life". :) That oughtta cover a lot if ut.

I have a serious jealous streak, esp. when it comes to other girls. i hate that. it stems from my low self esteem. i need constant affirmation, and i wish i could just get over it and think i'm a good as my boyfriend tells me i am. :P

I've been a shy boy all over my life and initially thought that it would fade with age.

But apparently that hasn't worked out yet ;-(

Being painfully shy sucks arse.

I hear ya.

Many of my female friends tell me I'm one of the nice guys, but I'm too shy and uncertain of myself to approach women, let alone get very far into a relationship. *shrug*

Yeah, shyness is up there for me. I talk a lot but I stil get nervous around people too often. also, I should cure my "foot in mouth" disease and think before I speak often.

I become terribly shy around guys that I have some sort of interest in...but around any other guy I am perfectly fine.

that's funny, because if anything, i'm TOO outgoing, and sometimes that gets me into trouble because i got meself a big mouth!

oddly enough, i go back and forth between being too shy (no fun to be around) and too outgoing (quite obnoxious).. rarely resting in between.

but... i think i'd do away with my procrastination.

I'm very shy but I also have a big mouth that gets me into trouble. I have basically filed all that way in the "Well that's how I am so I better get used to it" pile.

That's not to say I lie, cheat, steal, etc.... I don't. Ever. In that way I'm one of the most honest people I know.

BUT there are times when I'm not true to myself, and if there's one thing that has led me down the wrong path from time to time, I'd have to say it's because I've let myself behave in a way that isn't really me.

I am very unkind to myself.

Procrastination is a big one for me, I think. I should be working right now. But I'm not. Fancy that.
