Did you have an imaginary friend?

I never had an imaginary friend exactly of the sort I think this poll means.
Instead I had lots of imaginary mice. They lived inside me - like I was a hollow robot and they made me work almost like a puppet. Only I still made all the decisions. It was complicated, and I'm only getting more embarassed trying to explain myself. *isn't even going to go into talking to an imaginary television audience* I'm gonna go hide now.

I didn't have an imaginary friend, but my family thought so until they figured out I had just named my feet.

I gave my nephew an imagninary friend when he was four or five. I made up a story with a friendly monster named Fred that lived in his pocket. He played with Fred for a long time after that. My sister didn't find out that I was the source till this year.
Now this got ripped off twice by people who must have learned about it with their mind reading devices. Pokemon stole my idea of monsters that you keep in your pocket. There was a film "Drop Dead Fred" about an imaginary friend. Did anyone else see it? I thought it was great, the reviewers didn't agree.

i had two of them. i don't remember all the details too well personally, but my mother said i used to describe them in great detail...
which is funny, because now most of my friends think i'm imaginary. :D -= george =-
whenever my mother took us to the department store, i'd wander off & talk to the mannequins.

When I was a kid, about 3 or 4, I had an imaginary Pen Pal. His name was Uncle Alligator, and he lived in a brick swamp in Okefenokee Swamp. He sent me post cards and my parents would read them to me. Obviously my parents were the ones sending me the post cards....Well they actually sneaked it in with the mail. But we wrote each other for about a year. But you know how most pen pals are, you kinda just grow apart....I wonder what he is up to....

I had an mean invisible friend when i was little who beat up everyone else's invisible friends and took their lunch money. Seriously. It was a nice little set-up. My invisible pal stuck for most of a year. Then we got in an arguement and I never saw my invisible friend again.
he says he's the arm wrestling champion in outer Mongolia now! 5 years running.
i named all my stuffed cats after the musical. i had a Pound Purriewho was grey with darker grey stripes named Grizabella. i had a fat fluffy white cat named old deuteronomy. my tiny black cat with pink collar was mr. Mistoffelees. i had more, like jennyanydots, bustopher jones, macavety, etc, but i dont remember what they looked like :P i also used to make up dance routines to the soundtrack that usually involved my sister's baton *facepalm*
