Moxy Fruvous video torrents? (warning: technospeak)

I've got a few things taped from TV and with a video camera that I'm looking to convert to VCD, SVCD, or DVD. Is there any interest in torrents of the material? If so, what's the feeling on Size vs. Quality?
At the Highest quality my Video Capture Card, in uncompressed AVI, a 5 minute song would be about 1.3 gigs. I can record in mpeg 1 and 2, as well as a wmv setting (haven't played with that yet).
I also know there are DIVX and XVID codecs to compress the video further. Is there a preference to all of this for a torrent? Are people going to download a 200 mb file to see 1 or 2 moxy fruvous songs? Please post if there's interest, even if you have no idea about the technobabble. Thanks!

I'd be really interested. Here are my suggestions:
- please encode using DIVX/XVID if possible in DVD resolution(that keeps the filesize small without losing quality and everyone who wants to burn it on DVD, (S)VCD can transcode as required) or - if you plan to "produce" a DVD for yourself anyway just torrent the (zipped) DVD image. Thanks again for offering this and I promise to keep the torrents open for some time after d/l (as usual)
yeah. that's a perfectly good suggestion. sounds like an ati all-in-wonder card, or something comparable. i'd be more than happy to help seed this on my 5mbit with something like constant 100k upstream.
probably much like many others on fhdc, i'd be more than happy to assist the procedure (i.e. encoding issues, dvdr crapola, etc.) good luck if you give it a shot.
It's actually a Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP Deluxe ($44 at newegg!) I decided it was cheap enough to try. If it was crappy, not much $$ wasted. In this case, I think its acceptable quality (especially for a $44 card) See the torrent from the CTV sick kids telethon, and the upcoming 1998/05/30 and 1998/08/01 shows. Anyone know who videotaped them, so I can give proper credit?
The SONO show may have been Paul Beasi - I know he videotaped two shows there (one one year, and one the next).

i've liked the ones you've put up so far and i'd love to see some more!
FWIW... I may end up re-recording the ones I've done so far. Someone pointed out to me via pm that I was using a resolution in 16x9 format (wide screen) since the originals were all 4:3, they may look a little squished vertically. I'm thinking of trying 640x480, as i believe its the highest resolution my video card does. Also, if anyone has any video they've taped, that they would like shared, please pm or email me so we can work something out.
