I need anecdotes, and fast!
As some of you may be aware, a couple of British fruhead chickshave been touring the US for the last month now. I am the boyfriend of one of them, but haven't been told as much as I would like about what's been going on. Have any of you seen them? Had them in your home? Or had to shoo them off your property? I'd love tolet you, o esteemed messageboard, fill me in on what's really been happening, what fun was had, and where they buried the body. Hey, you don't even have to have to have seen them, I'm an anecdote junkie. Inventiveness gets you bonus points. Kinkiness does not. So what on earth could you possibly be waiting for!
I only got to see them at Falconridge this past weekend. Not much of Emilie, but much more of yours. :) She showed us a very cute pic of you. Umm...I don't have many anecdotes. She got mildly sunburned. She extolled the virtues of bananas. :)
They stayed with us a couple days, and we saw them again at Falcon Ridge. don't really have much time to write anecdotes, but we had fun. haven't had time to bury the body yet, but I'm fairly convinced that it was Professor Plum in the kitchen with the rope. :)

I thought Col. Mustard did it in the bathroom with the plunger.

Er, I think you mean that Col. Mustard did it in the bathroom, and then he had to use the plunger. (Potty humor=comedy gold.)
OK, so Friday night at FRFF, Donna and I were talking, and she wanted to go use the pay phone. So, we go to the pay phone, and discover a many-persons-long line. There were three phones, all in use. On the middle phone was a girl with an English accent. Donna and I were talking and talking, and this girl was STILL on the phone. For ages. Like, forever. FINALLY the girl gets off the phone, turns around, and sees my MF bucket hat. "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT HAT??" she says. "Are you Emilie," was my reply, thinking to myself, hm, English accent, young, knows MF. She was a little dumbfounded and said she was, and wanted to know who I was, and Donna, so we introduced ourselves, and then had a lovely 15-minute chat as we strolled the grounds. I took her picture - see my pictures in the FRFF pictures topic - and she headed back to camp while Donna and I headed to stage.
Siobhan I met briefly outside the food vendors as she, Bill, Kat, and Paul Mischler were walking by. No anecdotes involving her, I'm afraid.
hey! i think me and emilie have done many noteworthy things but will probably have forgotten all of them when i see fil so send them his way please!
Siobhan and Emilie are safely ensconsed in my spare bedroom now. Siobhan and I had a long discussion on ancient Icelandic Literature. Is that exciting stuff or what?
At FRFF, I contra danced with the two Brits and I think they had a blast and Emilie definitely loves to flail around. It was quite amusing.
On Sunday, I drove the two to my apartment and was completely exhausted that I nearly drove them off the road at a couple of points. Fortunately, I managed to stay awake long enough to get them to my apartment safe and sound.
In NYC on Monday and Tuesday, they wandered all over the place. They had Junior's Cheesecake, Krispy Kreme donuts, and had funky noodles at a restaurant featuring hot waiter guy. Emilie had chicken feet and Siobhan and I talked about the random virtues and faults of the British political system as well as the school system. Emilie hugged many cast iron animal sculptures and Siobhan bought a random tall redhead guy a very large coffee at Starbucks. Um, there's definitely a heck of a lot more, but I will most likely put them in a pictorial form at a later point.
Today I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art with two British Fruhead chicks. tonight we went to see Tracy and Robbie at Makor. One of them told me about her boyfriend Phil...
I too accompanied said British chicks to Makor. I believe they had a lovely time. They also had dessert. Mmmmmm. Dessert.
yes, I too have founddesserta goodway to please Thing 1 and/or Thing 2. If they do not consume at leastseven times their body weight in sugar, they start to deliberatelylower the value of the surrounding property. Honest to God.
*nod* i haven't seen anyone consume so much sugar since...umm...myself in 1996. :)
we had emilie and siobhan here in chicago at the beginning of their trip. there was much yummy food and giggling and bad music and shopping. and 3-d pr0n.

oh!!!!! and when we all first met up at barnes and noble before the show, emilie decided that she didn't have a clear communication track, so she was not saying anything. so....like...imagine emilie NOT talking. of course, it corrected itself throughout the night i guess{i was merching and didn't sit with the gang} like i thought it would, so no worries. but...like...do they HAFTA go back 'cross the pond???? can't we keep them????? pwease??? *BOTS eyelashes*
Even though one of is back home across the pond, here are some pictorial anecdotes of some of the British Fruhead Girls' adventures in New York City.
