god, I wish I could just fucking cut it out. I wish I could just tell myself its just some music and non showering and bugs. I wish I could stop being nourotic and enjoy some small part of life. I wish I could just snap the fuck out of my funk and be happy with my mundane mediocre exsistance.... wait wasn't this suposed to be about something else? ....

Now, for me, that thought is almost enough to move me to tears... but for you, it should work.

Gee, I'm not going to Falconridge, and I get to see the Nields this year. Best of both worlds :D

Me neither.� Of course I get to see the Finn Brothers (closest I've ever gotten to Crowded House) tomorrow and stalk-- err, SEE Keanu Reeves (closest I'll get to a Canadian this weekend most likely) in his band on Saturday.� So even though I can't see Lowen & Navarro and the Nields girls on the same stage... I have things to get me through it!

Darn being on a tight budget and stuck in Fla! I am going to NYC next week to see TMBG three nights in a row, though, so that's something. I'll make it to frff one year...

I'm not going. i think i end up going every other year or something.

Herrgooch and I will not be in attendance this year. We've been for the last 3 years. I found 4 days to be a bit much. No offense to those who love this particular aspect of the festival, but it was too green, too crunchy, too, too...Dar/Nields.

There wasn't even an argument about not attending: Bruce doesn't get vacation until nearly November. And, to be honest, I was rather relieved to know we wouldn't be going.

Besides. I'm still trying to figure out how to use my vacation to discover my own City. :)

I'm sure it would be great if I did go, tho..... I have been to the Michigan Womyn's Music Fest three times, which I suspect has some similarities, despite the obvious differences.

Just started a new job...don't have a ride...don't have the money...don't like people in large groups...don't have a "real" excuse....

but I am going to the Philly Folk Fest!

PH is way underrated. We should make all spelling more complicated using such things as the PH or the GH or the EAU.

I'm excited to see DVN & Girlyman again, plus seeing WA9 for the first time! And, while fruheads are great, I'm more for PFF where almost all my friends come camping as well.

Money, car, and work.
Issues with these three have conspired to cause me not to be at FRFF.
And I had such a good time last year.
