First Post :-P
I love abusing the administration on here ;-)
Wow, my brain isn't working. I've had Ralph on the mind the last few days.
"There's a stick in my bag!"
....isn't that Nelson?
....isn't that responding to the wrong post? Ha! <-- Half Nelson

and... that option isn't worded even CLOSE to as strongly as it should be .
heh. There is a special circle of hell reserved for "first post" people. They're just a few steps up from spammers. (Or, email spammers, I should say... since the first post thing really is spam in its own right.) Since when did fruhead.com because like /.? Oh yeah, it's modeled after that, except for the moderating. I just wish Fruhead.com because on such a big scale that if a website crashed because we linked it here, we could say the website was "fruheaded". :)
not so much spammers...more like hall monitors in high school, or that guy who gets to class at least 15 minutes early when you are just happy to be there less than 5 minutes late!

but...but...but...it is so fun to have the first post, though only if I can also contribute a comment to the poll.

I have no memory of submitting this at all. Of course I don't have any memory of anything that happened between 1980 and five minutes ago.
I don't think I've ever said, "first post" even though I've made the first post.
Yes, hours and hours of fun, 'cause the baseball bat doesn't really attract much police attention unless the cop is just standing there watching you.
now, pistol, the Uzi, the AK-47, and the flame-thrower, mind you... -- Pauley (who's rather fond of the sniper rifle -- one shot, *pewf* one kill.)
nah, sniper doesn't attract enough attention. after all, you haven't really played GTA3 until you've had the Army coming after you in a tank, collected all your police bribes and then stolen the tank, gotten a one star wanted level for it (because obviously stealing a tank is no different than stealing a car), and then been chased and rammed by the other tank that came after you originally. :)
and how, pray tell, do you get access to Staunton Island and Shoreside Vail before the first mission without cheating? ;)
yeah, next time I play, I'm going to do the taxi and fire and missions like that first, before I start too far into things. -- Pauley (pointing out that you probably mean the third mission, 'cause you don't have free reign of the map until you've gone to the hideout and then gone to Luigi's first mission.)
well, second mission, really. You have to do the first one because it's all part of the intro.
but you CAN get to Staunton Island without cheating - there's a part of the bridge where the broken pieces are close enough together to jump across (on the right hand side - jump from a piece of metal to the round stone piece). And since you're not really supposed to do that, the game is a little confused, and the tunnel to Shoreside is open, too. You can even go to the airport and fly the plane back to the import/export garage to complete it (it's the only vehicle you need there that you won't encounter on fire/vigilante missions) you can get 99/100 hidden packages, too - the 100th one is on top of the lift bridge, and I'm not good enough at flying yet to get it before the bridge is fixed. definitely do ALL side missions before starting anything else - rampages, too. they're MUCH easier when the gangs don't hate you yet. :) You must first create an account to post.
