Poll: Who would you rather have as a roommate

The great Tony Randall just died so I started this poll in his honor. There are only two choices, you must pick one.

I picked oscar because I like the name better, but I don't know who any of these people are.

you're over a year older than i am. don't make me feel old for knowing this. :P

For what it's worth, I'm a few years younger, and I knew ;-)

Although I did have to think a moment to remember which name went with which personality.

Oscar is the green muppet, and felix is the cat, right?

And I'm even younger than that, and I knew too.

Only because I stage-managed the play version in high school.

they did the play at my high school, too, only so few guys tried out that they did an all-female version.

You should've picked Felix; Oscar hasn't been dedicated to the sport ever since that stupid Latin pop album fiasco.

But of course the Klitschko brothers are really the only story currently going, when it comes to boxing.

(Wait, we weren't talking about Trinidad v. de la Hoya?)

Altough Felix can cook, I'm not sure i could live with such an anal retentive neat freak.

see, despite nik's excellent point about the felix being an excellent cook, i think felix would be the choice for me. i mean...i can be messy and though felix would prolly be insensed by the way -i- keep house sometimes, if i had to live with another 'oscar', i see the house falling apart.

plus...um....i am more of a theatre person than i am a sportsgal ;)

though i -might- hafta reconsider now that i remember that noise that felix makes with his nose when he has breathing problems. =)

I need a Felix because I am an Oscar. Right now Paul and I are both Oscars to varying degrees. It's not a pretty sight. :)

My husband and I are both Oscars too. Our house is a little messy at times, but it would make me feel like crap if I lived with someone who was silently (or not so silently) judging my housekeeping skills all the time. I could never relax. Although two Oscars would make a messy house, at least I could my feet up (on the coffee table) and relax.

I voted for Oscar because he can get me tickets to sporting events. I am more of an Oscar so our apartment would very scary. I tried to imagine them at FRFF. Felix would appreciate the music and the atmosphere but I think the hygiene issues would cause a nervous breakdown.

I'm sort of a Felix trapped in an Oscar's room. All in all I think my personality is too close to Felix to get along with an Oscar, though a full-fledged Felix and I would have our difficulties, too. Maybe a real Felix would rub off on me enough that it would work out in the end. :)

Actually, I have a problem that I've dubbed my "Oscar Madison ways." I agree that Felix is too much of a burden for a roommate.

This was truly my favorite sitcom of all time...too bad it's back on at 2:30 in the blippin' morning!

My ex-roommate was a Felix Unger, and I was definitely an Oscar Madison. It was horrid. I felt so guilty with her books stacked in height order and all crazy, meanwhile, my half of the room looks like a bomb went off....

In other words, never again. I'd choose Oscar any day.

I am totally Oscar. My husband is totally Felix, even down to the apron. dwds. I voted for Oscar.
