if I ever sing in public again, which is my goal, I'd like to sing cry baby a la janis joplin... to get over my social anxiety before I'd smoke up a LOT and drink. THEN I could get up and sing with people, with wee bands.. I want to be able to be me on my own. its coming slowly.

if there could only be one, i'd go with patti smith's "gloria." it's fun and intense and a vocal workout. plus it scares people. :)
