The Falcon Ridge of your dreams.
pretty much everyone he said, except mike doughty (he's cool, i just don't see him working at frff).
and now i'll ruin this rare moment by adding the nields. :) i would love to see amy speace and anna fermin's trigger gospel in the new artists showcase, too. Hmm. Miss wannabe rock star will never play a folk festival again...(and apart from that the rumor had it that she wasn't at FRFF 2003 cuz she demanded too much money...)
yeah, but it's a "dream" frff, so in this magical dream world of mine, erin is still ok with being a folkie and playing festivals with the other mere mortals. :)
i could deal with ellis instead of chris--i think i'd actually prefer it. and i'd love the paperboys and the crack queen again. :)
agreed...while I felt bad for Ellis falling ill last year, I was so much happier to see Chris performing in his place.
"darn kenworth" nothing. knowing the title of that song once won me free tix to a richard and tracy show. :)

Josh Woodward would be on my list for the new artist showcase. he's written some great stuff in the past year or so. yeah, yeah, there's some affiliation and probably some amount of bias in that comment as well. *shrugs* i still think he rocks and would be a great addition. :)
We'll forgive you the bias since he really does rock. :) And I hear his wife is totally awesome! :) (Especially on bongos!)
yes, please.
and if kellie comes, can she bring stolie and victoria?

Richard Shindell Lucy Kaplansky Tracy Grammer Susan Werner Christopher Williams Peter Mulvey Robbie Schaefer (Mike Clem optional) We're About 9 Girlyman John Gorka Kris Delmhorst Erin McKeown The Mammals Russell Wolff The Nields (with full band...cause they just have so much fun) Da Vinci's Notebook Moxy Fruvous Patty Larkin Patti Griffin Live From New York Nickel Creek Indigo Girls (hey, they played Newport a few times) Sweet Honey in the Rock (so long as I'm really dreaming) Chris & Meredith Thompson Chris Smither Vance Gilbert Though, this wouldn't leave much time for me at the dance tent, but I would include Wild Aspargus, Airdance, Assembly, and Northern Lights for contradancing bands.
Oh wow i totally forgot about Sweet Honey in the Rock!!!! I think they'd be a great addition. Sunday morning wakeup gospel????? whoa man! i'm there with bells on! Sing it Bernice!
*faints* sweet honey would kick so much ass...there haven't been any *real* gospel singers up there since the last time ruthie foster was there.
also, imetberniceonceeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
You know, if you keep up with this "I meet famous people" thing, I may have to kill you out of jealousy. and that's saying a lot for someone I've never met in person. :)

Would it be wrong of me to say Moxy Fruvous 10 times?
Maybe interspersed with others but... God, I miss them. Sorry. I'm not cool.
jeez, you like Moxy Fruvous? Why are you posting here? didn't you know this is the We Hate Moxy Fruvous club?
I thought this was the official Pete Best fan site. "the Best fan site on the web."
and all this time, i thought it was the people's front of judea.
I'd miss them, but I'm not even cool enough to have seen them.

I'm not gonna do a whole list because I'd mostly be seconding what everyone else said.
But I would absolutely. need. some C&M Thompson "Amazing Grace." And if they played a whole set I'd be happy about that too. Also, I'm all about the solo Robbie and no EFO. *Runs.
It's a girl!
