MPEG to Animated GIF? |

MPEG to Animated GIF?
Which OS btw? Adobe Imageready does this - creating a layer for each frame :) But you can choose to convert just a selected area of the file or ever nth frame. Another way would be to use TMPGENC (free version; Win) to save the .mpg as an image sequence. Then you could choose manually the frames to use in your animated GIF.
I know there are tons of software out there because this is what is used to make animated icons.
Quick Time Pro can help (but it must be the paid version) Along with Paint Shop Pro's animation Shop. This is what I came up in my search. A bunch of software. If you are on LiveJournal, there are communites for Paint Shop Pro beginners and Animation Shop. I know how to change a SWF file into a GIF. There is software for that. :)
sorry that's the FHDC filter - it gets messed up because of that.
Do a search on MPEG to GIF software and I came up with a bunch of it.
I lurrrves some of mine. Especially my "End of the World" icon. :)
But mine is so cute. I'll describe it for Nate and anyone who doesn't allow animated Gifs: It's Bub (or Bob) from Bubble Bobble, everyone's favourite arcade classic from 1986. He looks at the post above.. then my post... thenthe post above.. then my post, and then flails all over with it's hands. It's really quite fititng.
Whoa, you can disable animated gifs in Firebird? Where do I sign up?
