Just got home from seeing Return of the King. It finally hit me who Legolas reminds me of. Chris and Meredith Thompson!

they cracked me up at the house concert workshop at frff this past year...i think chris was the one who kept talking about how much she loves to sit in people's laps and lick them.

Yeah Chris always does the talking and can get very inspirational. Super fun. When I was at the Campfire festival�and�talked to her after her/their set�(either in 2001 or 2002 - I don't remember exactly) and told her that I came from Germany to be at the festival she yelled something like "Wow. This is now an international folk festival! Can please someone tell Matt Smith". We were all rolling in the aisles ;-D

Heh. I was just perusing Lord of the Rings images and this one just struck me because for a second I thought it was our own Mike Ford. (It's Andy Serkis who was Gollum.)
