If they're in public, I think you can take their picture despite their protests (which I doubt they'd voice anyway).� You might have to obtain a release to publish the image, but I don't think that covers web-posting... and listing them as "a group of fans" may be enough.

You could even use it as a theatre promotion... free soda if I can take your picture.� Boss might not like that too much, though.

well if they are minors... then I think I need to have a parents permission to phograph them.... I dunno. I wanted to do a promotionl thing for my own sick pleasure. DRESS UP LIKE YOUR FAVORITE LOTR's CHARACTER AND WIN A FREE POPCORN! ....and then I could have taken their pics and then posted them on the internet for us all to mock. *sigh*
