cookies for the crewmen?

   Discussion: cookies for the crewmen?

I can say that I've been the grumbler more often than not... but my windows are always up. I grumble at the delay, not the situation that caused it or the people trying to fix it. It just makes sense not to piss of the paddle person.

"I'd let you go... but you're a bastid. You wait three more minutes." Not a happy situation.

Even if it cost you dinner, you did a wonderful thing for the workers. And they obviously appreciated the gesture. The story makes me smile. It almost inspires me to make cookies, but the construction I drive through every day was supposed to be done last August and probably won't be done until next August. The last thing I'm going to do is give them a reason to slow things down. :-)

I found your diary. heh. You are such a sweetie, i've never done anything *that* nice. Once in a traffic jam i jumped out and had a friend slide over behind the wheel, and i ran up to the grocery store and got the lady and her kids that were behind me some bottled water, because it was reeeally hot.
*hugs* Zilly, we totally should hook up. Will you be my lesbian lover?
