i'm surprised that mental illness doesn't constitute serious illness. i know that my mom gets funding here in town for her mentally ill patients, but that's canada for you. it might be a totally different kettle of fish

its a serious illness, but unless I'm collecting dissability benifits I'm not technicly considered dissabled. and its very hard to get dissability benifits for mental illnesses.
