I hate eggs. I've always hated eggs. They taste like hangover vomit, they have a horrible texture, and that smell *gag*!! This isn't a PETA thing, I just really really reallyhate eggs.

me too. i always feel like i'm eating an abortion. i eat them once in a blue moon, bc my mom wants to cram protein down my throat. i'm not opposed to french toast bc it doesn't have that taste..........
renita Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
eggs are generally not fertalized (once in a blue moon you'll find one-- usually with free range eggs)

if it's all yellow yolk and white. it's not an "abortion" it's closer to a chicken's period. (bad analogy but the best I can do) an unused egg that didn't get spermified and is never going to turn into a little fluffy yellow chick.

Erica: movin' to Ohio!! Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
know that. but it reminds me of amniotic fluid, the color..the texture. yargh.
Rachel Beck · 21 years, 7 months ago
Just kidding, but I wanted to be the first to say it. Omelets for me. Mmm mmm.
sheryls · 21 years, 7 months ago
mm, eggs. i love 'em scrambled with cheese if i'm on atkins, and over easy with toast if i'm off (i cant eat them over easy without toast. it's just a thing).
Andrea Krause Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
Me too. Well, I can't have them any squishy-yolk way without toast. I need to have it sopped up by toast. :) Scrambled or omelettes I don't need toast. Fried eggs of any ilk, soft-boiled, etc, I need toast. :)

Sarah Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
I like them over easy with the runny yolk (don't like the yolk any other way). I love home fries mixed in with the yolk. Yum.
Paul D. Beasi · 21 years, 7 months ago
I like them every way listed, depending on my mood. Too hard to pick just one. :)
Jan Klump Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
I'm with Paul. I had a difficult time picking. Last evening we had wonderful omelets made by our house guest.
ShrinkMan Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
Me too!!! Though I must admit that hard boiled eggs are my least favorite along with any other technique that leaves the whites 'rubbery' in texture....

I even love Ani's "Death" Omlettes (made with enough melted butter to drown a dairy farmer, leaving the outside crispy without being burnt or chewy...).

When you want eggs, there are few things more satisfying than getting them - especially if they are cooked to fit your craving! ...And nothing follows them up like only the freshest, *ICE-COLD* milk!!!

Annika Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
to eat? Or "your" eggs?
*joolee* · 21 years, 7 months ago
My favoritest eggs ever are the cheese eggs from waffle house with salt and pepper. Oh m'notGod! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! *faints*
· 21 years, 7 months ago

what?

I'm the ONLY one who likes poached eggs?

well,

~J~

Melinda J. Beasi · 21 years, 7 months ago
Over medium.
sheryls Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
i usually say over medium, but i said over easy here, closest thing - plus, it would seem that the waffle house is the only place on earth that knows what over medium is. grr. every other place cooks them to death!
Jºnªthªn Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
Nothing worse than ordering them over easy and getting back a solid yolk. Salmonella be damned, I want 'em the way I want 'em!
nate... · 21 years, 7 months ago
I like "white trash eggs".

Sunny side up, with the yokes still very runny so you can sop them up with the toast.
Oh, and lots of salt and pepper on 'em.

Eri Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
Yummmmmmmmmmmmm.
jaye · 21 years, 7 months ago
i voted "ewww" because, of course, eggs and me are not a pleasant combination. but, of course, duck eggs are fantastic, so perhaps either the poll or i should have been more specific ;)
Zach · 21 years, 7 months ago
What's with the breakfast trend in our polls? I mean, it's not a bad thing or anything. It's just....breakfasty.
renita Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
breakfast trend?

sausages my friend, are not just for breakfast.

(?well, and neither are eggs, I guess, if you get right down to it--but I consider eggs more breakfasty than sausages. and yah.)
jaye Back · 21 years, 7 months ago

o.O
ShrinkMan Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
Heh, Reni, you should change your nick to 'Butch and Authoritative'!

"Stamping down mistaken notions everywhere!"

I think this halloween you should dress-up like Eric "CHiP's" Cartman.

I know I have *always* respected your AU-thor-TAY!

ya know paul, maybe I should...

"Stamping down mistaken notions everywhere!"

what's funny about that is: for halloween, 2001 I dressed up as half of a new superhero team, the duct-tape duo. our motto. "Stopping inane conversation, shutting one mouth at a time."

I dunno, it seems related, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm not careful if I'll cross over into the realm of the pretentious (or perhaps I already have...)

omlette
Eri · 21 years, 7 months ago

poached. Yes, yum, poached.

Except that it turns out I'm allergic to eggs and can't eat them anymore.

jaye Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
doesn't that suck?

i get the worst cravings for egg salad sammiches, of all things, sometimes. cruel.
Nik Chaikin · 21 years, 7 months ago
I said scrambled but i like soft boiled on toast too. and omletts.
Nik Chaikin · 21 years, 7 months ago
This has nothing to do with anything i just wanted to show off my new thumbnail. ten points to anybody who can name the little fellow.
George E. Nowik · 21 years, 7 months ago

actually, i'm a big fan of over medium. can't quite explain why. love eggs in general tho.

Laura P. · 21 years, 7 months ago
I can't have any runny parts in my eggs, it just sceeves me out. I'm not a big fan of any viscous food.
zil · 21 years, 7 months ago
I think I'd prefer my eggs to be cooked.... in ohio and I'd like to have breakfast there too. not just shipped to maine... dude.
Will work for anime Back · 21 years, 7 months ago
