How would you spend it? Just one year to spend however you want, money is no object.

Money no object? I'd travel. Ireland, Spain, France (yeah, you heard me), Russia, Italy.... just all over the place.

Hrmm...Assuming this sabbatical started in April, I would first do a baseball stadium tour of the US stopping along the various points of interest throughout the country (Grand Canyon, Yosemite, the World's largest corn, etc) and meeting up with my various friends that I know. This would take about3-4 months. Then I would travel round the world, starting with Europe (the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, etc.)and then making my way to Asia and Australia for the next 7 months and then spend the last month readjusting at home and getting ready to head back to whatever I was doing. Oh, and I would take lots of pictures and get a bunch of tacky souvenirs to give to everyone I know (I'm cheesy that way).

If money were no object and my old college credits were still good, I would get my last 33 college credits and get my BA.

Otherwise I'd take some ceramics classes, glass-blowing lessons, and take a leisurely driving tour of the entire US.

I'd go on a road trip, travel all around north america.. well, not all around, but places that would be interesting to me, places I've never heard of, probably mostly Canada because I've been to so few places in Canada. Only problem with that, if I had a year to do it, by the end of the year I wouldn't want to end, it would need to be closer to like one or two months, I'd be between the "ARRRGH!! I need to get away from the car!" and the feeling of not wanting to be tied down in any one place. Or something, I don't know. But yeh, road trip over north America.

Move to New York, immediately. Take absolutely nothing from my home in Canada except my guitar, notebook, and a few treasured items.

Buy an apartment for me and she who i love. play coffeeshop gigs every night. Start my own newspaper. Buy a new laptop with Photoshop on it. Take a trip to Ohio to record an album with Josh. Visit the East coast. Eat sushi and Ethiopian food and green tea ice cream. Pierce all the parts of my body that my mother isn't letting me pierce.

*sigh*

I would travel. All over the globe,

I'd attend swing dance workshops.
Harrang, Sweden
Camp Hollywood, California
The one in New York, the name of which I forget.

And in between. I'd learn to play the fiddle.

I guess I'll spend my sabbatical in the fetal position as well then. ;o)
