Josh was kind enough to create this forum, so I'll repost my original post over here!!!

Is it too early to start the planning on this?  Who's going, where will you be, when will you get there? 

I know I'll be there starting Wednesday just to get situated.  Gordon is right, the Camp Fruvous Yahoo group is also a wonderful place to talk about these issues.

I'll also keep my own website:  http://www.budgiedome.com updated with any pertinent information.

barring any unforseen catastrophes or work conflicts, i'll be there wednesday night. i REFUSE to miss the showcase this year!!!

i'm also hoping to get a press pass. anyone know anything about that?

Actually, the new artist showcase is STILL scheduled for Friday.

And the fact that Pollstar only lists two artists for Thursday (Patty Larkin & Vance Gilbert) leads me to wonder....  Will Thursday be a full day of activity, or will it be limited to Thursday night?

As I posted on the wall, I purchased a 4 room tent, and only 2 rooms are claimed so far, if you need something let me know! There is one 'real' room and the center room left, although I might just take the center room as I don't mind people stumbling over me while I'm asleep to get to get to where they are going.

Well, is sleeping and passing out drunk the same thing? If so, yes I plan to sleep.

Call to be sure, but I was told to send a letter requesting press passes on company letterhead.  References to officers is encouraged.  Be sure to include your reason and what you plan to use the pass to do.

I'll be up the weekend before to 'claim space' for the budgiedome. If anyone else will be in the area that weekend we can setup then or it waits for people to arrive on Wednesday.

If you're planning on setting up on Saturday I'll be more than happy to make the trip up and help out.  I'm also planning on sticking around the Monday after if you need help breaking it down.

neal and i will be there wednesday morning, and we'll probably be in upper camp as always.

Who's lower camping with us this year? Shelly and I should know roughly how much tent space everyone needs too so that we make sure we have enough room for everyone. :)

Hello all - I am new to the forum but an old MF/FRFF fan and wanted to let you know that according to the nice lady who sells tickets for FR Thursday day will be the music networking workshops, dance and family stuff but Thursday NIGHT (I think she said starting at 6pm) will be a full, headlined line-up. Friday will still be showcase and the rest will proceed as usual. She said that she has asked and is asking MF to come for the 15th anniversary but she is not optomistic that any of them will be able to break away from their current individual projects. Hope this helps you all with your planning!

Thanks for the info!  I think all of us are certainly under the assumption that Fruvous won't be playing this summer.

I was worried that the activities won't begin until Thursday night.  Now I can see that the main stage acts begin at 6 PM.  So far, only Patty Larkin and Vance Gilbert are confirmed for Thursday night.  I'll put this info on Budgiedome.com.  Thanks!!!

Well, I came home today and found my Falcon Ridge Ticket in the mail! Woohoo! Now to just keep it in a safe place until July 23rd.  Anyway, with the ticket was a flyer with some of the performers.  Here's what it says:

So it looks like DVN will be there! Yay! and The Nields (no suprise...as they are always excited about being there).  I'm so excited...I want Falcon Ridge now!

My volunteer sign-up form came in the mail yesterday too - 'tis the season!

OOOH! Greg Brown! I haven't heard him in yeeeeeears! I'm even more excited.

I've sent my volunteer sheet back in already too. Tshirt tent, here I come :)

the katfam will be there--hotcakes and vegetarian sausage breakfasts for all!  :D  can't wait to see you guys--k.

Does that mean they start letting people IN no later than 5? or that you have to BE in no later than 5?
