I believe that in programming language, the ! is known as shebang. So, that would be Mike-shebang-party. Sounds good to me.

Actually, the "shebang" refers to the combo of #! , which is located at the start of a unix script before the name of the interpreter. The ! alone is simply known as a "bang".

It might just be me, but the "Mike-bang-party" sounds somewhat less appealing ;-D

i replied that i'd like to but i couldn't afford it..at least i don't think i could. but august is a long way away-o and by then i'll have my IATA{trav agt} card, so i could get a discount on a flight...so we'll see. *shrug*

Well, that's another reason why I'm asking now, because it would give people time to make tentative plans. Generally I try to have the party in the end of june to mid august range, carefully trying to avoid frff time.

But it's also dependant on the schedules of the people I'd want to bring out to play.

It only takes a week or so to drive from one end of the country to the other. And if we aranged it right, the buses return could bring west coast Fr� out to FRFF...

It was much better than Cats, I want to see it again, and again! (heh!)

(My band got to play the first year, and I had soooo much fun watching and jamming with last year's bands too!)
