Perhaps Dylan's most beautiful song.
She makes love just like a woman,
But she breaks just like a little girl.
Perfection.

Bah Humbug, the fourth best version of the Leonard Cohen classic is winning.

Yeah, this is my least favorite of the popular versions, but it's hard to screw this one up. :)

We already have two previous versions of this song that won their respective polls, so it would be interesting if one version was pitted against another.

Just a programming note; the next batch of polls will be the tie-breaker polls, but after that, we'll get into the Round of 64.

Really, I don't even know why Rufus gets this much credit for the song.  He's doing his version of someone else's cover of someone else's song.  He doesn't even bring much to it.  Sure, it's nice to listen to, but it's just the Shrek Soundtrack version of Jeff Buckley's masterpiece.  It's friggin karaoke.

Bah.

There are so many songs on this list that actually deserve recognition.

I voted for "Fearless" btw... from my favorite Pink Floyd album.  But Jeff Buckley would have been my second choice.  Sad to see he has no love.

Looking forward to the tiebreakers!  This is fun!

:)
