Poll: How fast are you going to read HP 7?

Just curious. Post here when you've finished reading it. I don't have it yet, I'm second in the queue to borrow it form somebody that is reading it now.

Am I a nerd for making this forum or for not reading the book yet?
Or just a nerd in general and you just felt the need to say it now?

i'm not reading any of the books. although i might pick it up in 30 years from now...

I liked the two movies I saw, but I haven't read a fiction book in ages. Plus, I read so slowly that I'll probably be dead by the time I got to the seventh book anyway.

I started this afternoon and finished about half an hour ago. When I finished, I hugged the book to my chest and cried.

oh my god, he died didn't he?  Or worse Ron died.  Oh god poor Ron.

I didn't cry (at that point, anyway) because of the content of the book, really... I cried because after eight years of reading these stories, it was all over.  It was kind of like losing a friend.

All you need to do is create a Harry Potter Mii character, and he'll live on forever in your heart.

It's not my fault that some people have no boundaries or respect for other people's privacy.

Making virtual copies of real people is creepy and wrong.  It objectifies and fetishizes them.

Speaking of Potter hilarity, there's a hilarious IT Tech resignation letter here (although since I'm reading the 5th book, I wish I hadn't read that headline).

I cried......T_T....man....I can't believe....*tears up*....It's like of Mice and Men all over again....I'll never get over it.
