Poll: Garlic?

I like garlic in most anything that is savory. Yum.....

"Yum" does not even begin to express the joy that is garlic.

Growing up eating Italian food cooked by a mother with no sense of smell has definitely made me accustomed to lots of strong garlic flavors. :)

Can never have too much galic. Sauteing garlic is one of my all time favorite smells, even more so if there is onion in the pan too.

Garlic is essential to a full life! :)

Yes indeedy. Garlic in pasta, soups, salads, eggs. Garlic roasted, broiled, fried, raw. Garlic bread, garlic sauce, garlic garlic garlic. Garlic in everything. Garlic is the best spice ever. Garlic for president.

Garlic adds a pleasant taste to food, yes, but I do not like garlic as the dominant flavor for food.

They have to order special wines that still have the right flavor after your tastebuds have been burned by all the garlic.

What's not to love?
I don't do it often, but I've been known to just eat the bulbs :-)

I made this red sauce over the weekend... made a mirepoix to start with. Onions, carrots, celery and garlic sweated over low heat. The sauce came out great :-)

john and i have a friend that actually HATES garlic and actively avoids it. that gets a huge wtf from me.

i hate garlic and refuse to eat anything with garlic on it. i know it sounds crazy, but i find it to be gross.

Have we ever had a poll this lopsided? We've had so many I can't remember. For a while it was 100% and I was shocked.

But wow, looking at these results, no wonder it's used so much. :)

what if garlic doesn't like you back?
I love it and cook often with it, but i have to be careful because my husband can't eat too much with out paying a price....making italian night rather difficult *foof*
