Poll: Are you interested in owning your very own copy of the new Tory cd?

Tory Cassis' new cd The Saturday Night Function is finally finished and able to be purchased. I know a lot of you will be in Toronto con weekend so Tory asked me to find out if anyone will be interested in purchasing the cd while in town so he knows how many he'll need to have with him. So far you can't buy it online but he's working on it. For those in town on con weekend who want the cd but don't want to go down to the Res to by it - I'll be going down on the Saturday night so I'd be happy to play messenger girl and deliver copies back to the hotel.

It's selling for $20 and the track listing is as follows...

I think I'll have to play it by ear on the Saturday night. The Res isn't the easiest place for me to negotiate (what is with all these Front St. clubs and their downstairs entrances?) so I might just want to stay back at the hotel. Either way I NEED that CD though. I am the girl that shocked Tory with the fact that I was in grade 8 when his first album came out afterall=p. So, just remind me to give you money if I don't end up going Leanne.

Well, if either/both of you want to send me a money order or something just frum me - I'd be happy to pick you up copies and mail them off when I get home from con.

Is he playing Saturday night of the con? Where? How much, etc? He really needs to update his website.

Tory plays every saturday night at a place called the Reservoir Lounge (College and Wellington area right near C'est What).

The website thing is a whole other problem. I'm wondering if I know enough about website stuff to take it over myself. At the moment though I run a list for him out of a Yahoo club called The Storyteller's Lounge. Unfortunately - Tory is really lousy about keepng *anyone* current on what he's doing involves being on him constantly for information 'cause he doesn't volunteer anything. *long suffering sigh*

And the two of you who currently don't know who Tory is should fess up so I can educate you. ;-)

If anyone wants me to pick 'em up a copy of the cd the weekend of con in return for money or trade let me know. Or anyone planning to go down to get it...I want to make sure he's going to have enough with him so that no one is disappointed. He's not much of a planner, plus there's his whole refusal to believe he actually has fans. ;)

I really would like a copy and I will not be at FruCon. I'd also like a copy of his first one since I have a tape someone made me and it's quicky biting the dust. FruMsg me... we can work something out hopefully.
