I've always wondered why bands record and sell cover versions of songs that sound identical to the original, just not as good. They're even throwing their voices to sound just like Fruvous. Kinda lame. *shrugs*

Seriously. I mean, at that point, why bother? Covers should be reinterpretations of original material in the style of whoever's doing the cover.

if it were a collegiate a cappella group i'd understnad but it seems to be a semiprofessional group. i mean i've heard this done by other groups at a cappella concerts. hell, i've done I Love My Boss and Lazy Boy in concert years ago....

Well... I always thought the Fruvous version of "Tears of a Clown" was a cover of the English Beat cover....
