Can't Help Falling in Love is on of my short list of most romantic songs and one I once almost sang on key. Alice's Restaurant is a few lines of doggeral with a 17 minute introduction; Doesn't matter. It was tied for the second album I ever bought and it is a treasure, an easy winner.

I think it's hilarious how this worked out that one of these tie-breakers would be an Arlo Guthrie song vs. a song Arlo is known for covering.

I wasn't even thinking about that and I love the story that Arlo tells about singing that in Germany after the Berlin Wall fell and Pete Seeger knowing all the words.

SO HARD.
