Poll: XPN Top 640 Poll - #50

I voted for Stairway every time WNEW had a poll of greatest song of all time and it won every time. I'm not breaking my streak, not even for Big Yellow Taxi or Tupelo Honey.

Really? REALLY? In Your Eyes > Stairway to Heaven? Some crappy 80s song that gets stuck in your head way too easily > one of the greatest rock songs of all time? Bah! Bah I say!

Wow this one was too easy for me because I have a personal connection with the Jeff Buckley song... but look at the great songs I had to skip over! So unfair. On another list, EVERY ONE of these songs (except the Grateful Dead and Steve Forbert) could have been my number one. Gah. I wish I could vote for more than one. Kinda glad that "Lover" was on this list or else it would have been a tough choice.

How does Tupelo Honey garner no votes? This is the poll where I disagree most strongly with the results. The runaway winner wouldn't make my top 1000 songs and great songs got 0, 1, and 2 votes.
