Bands/Singers Unlikely to Duet or Collaborate
Right; What would make it interesting is the ones that are unlikely but actually did collaborate like Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.
What do you mean? That's a natural duet, they are both neo-trad harmony groups. Didn't they both cover Shady Grove? I like Foie Gras's cover of the Kennedys' Liver of Fallen Stars.
If we're getting into artists who shouldn't have duetted but did, I put in the Bing Crosby/David Bowie duet of "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth."
I'm a bit of a Christmas music obsesser, and that cross generational-cultural collaboration fascinates me.
I enjoy that one. If I had a copy of it it would end up on my annual Batnose Festivus CD.
The personas couldn't have been more different but their voices go well together. I wish I could say that I watched that when it was originally broadcast.
