I really can't imagine anything but Love Set Fire winning this round.

Yeah, I'd forgotten how "front-loaded" YWGTTM was. Some fun live tunes, but nothing that gets me excited on CD.

Oh, don't get me wrong - I love the second half of YWGTTM, but Love Set Fire is my favourite and I think it's rather popular among the fans, too.

My bigger problem with the album isn't the songs so much as the horrendous production. I mean, have they heard of reverb?

*shrugs* I don't mind the production on it, and I really like the production of Thornhill, which is even drier. I hate reverb.

Heh, quick Thornhill question:

I was listening to the album for the first time in years a little while back and for some reason, I didn't skip through "When She Talks".  Have you ever noticed that they're clearly going for a Brian Wilson (circa Smile) feel?  If they'd have played it up more and had someone else sing it, it would have been a decent tune.
