Do you get off from school or work for Columbus day?

No, but I got off work for John Lennon's birthday.  :)

Technically, I would NOT have had the day off, but I did anyway to visit the boy for Canadian Thanksgiving.

Funny thing was on G4TechTV(or whatever it's called now)'s Attack of the Show, the host said something about a "fake holiday" and Andrew got all mad. I had to remind him that it was Columbus Day as well. Alas!

I remember getting C-day off when I was little, not since then though.
