I am part of the reason they sell GPS for cars.
i am, too. i got lost ALL THE TIME and when we moved to boston, we bought a GPS. it's not 100% reliable? but i'd say about 90%. and it's really awesome. like "lesse. click food...mexican...ok, there are 10 mexican restaurants within 3 miles of here. let's pick..this one..*click* *go*" :D What is your price range? i know they've gotten cheaper since i looked - Mine is a model up from this one and we paid over $900 for it :P and i bet you could even find it cheaper somewhere online. they are a bit pricey for the touch-screeny talking ones. but you do at least want one that talks. here is a TomTom model that is $100 cheaper than the garmin, even on bestbuy. i bet amazon or even ebay might have one - but i'd be wary of a used one. even mine flakes out at times (usually needs to be reset or to be plugged into the wall and recharged to full inside before it'll work again). they're an investment, but worth it if you drive a lot. No price range, I want a good one if I have to hold off for a couple months to be able to afford it. You must first create an account to post.
