What is your ultimate "I've made it" item?

Last weekend I was talking with coworkers about what you'd have that would show you that you'd made it. One person said they'll be able to flat out buy a car, no payments, no loans, just be able to write out a check. Another said they'd have a sunken tub.
Mine isn't nearly on the level of those, I'll know I've made it when I have an insta-hot on my sink.

Being able to pay off anything I owe to the college and all of my loans.� All at once.�

I like the car idea a lot.

Yes those are two real books. The film soylent green is based on "Make Room! Make Room. They were written by Harry Harrison. You said you wanted someone to ask you 'hey, arent you the author of such-and-such?' You didn't say that the answer had to be yes :-)

I got that recently. Some kid made me for a song I wrote. Nothing's cooler.

When i either have no monthly credit card bills, or if i do i can pay the balances each month. woot. :D

also, when we have enough saved that losing our jobs for a few months wouldnt hurt us.

When I can make a living just by writing. That'd be grand.
