Fruvous songs based on groupies

Hi everyone. I apologize if this has been discussed before. I'm wondering if anyone has mp3s of that CD Moxy Fruvous made of individual people. I had the ones that are on fruvous.com, but I can't find them, and I know that they made an entire CD's worth of songs. I remember it being because those people got enough points for going to shows or something. Man, my memory is bad.
2 CDs, actually, but as of the last I heard, they're not yet available for public consumption. :-(
Blast it. And the ones on the website don't work anymore. :(
Here is a yousendit link to get the 10 that were on FDC plus mine. That makes this the most complete collection to date. That is sad, though, because there are still a bunch out there that haven't been heard. :(

Were they not supposed to be released one per month on FDC? Chris stopped posting them For some reason, and they've been in limbo ever since. But Josh, at one time I seem to remember you talking about taking over FDC and continuing the release like it was a done deal. What happened to that, or am I making that up? Since the plan WAS to release them on the website, can't we try and get hold of a copy of the complete set?
Yeah, a year or so back, Jason was working with them to get them all out via BitTorrent. If I remember right, Jian had reservations about it, so the project kinda flopped.
I think part of the original decision hinged on the approval from each of the recipients first. Since they are all now hopelessly scattered, I don't see it happening that way anytime soon.
I haven't talked to Jian in ages. If anyone's still in contact with him and he gives the thumbs-up, I'll post 'em here.
I remember talk of approval first, but since the very first one Chris posted was Krista Ortgiesen who never even herd it herself, because nobody knows where she is, I thought that concept had gone out the window.
Hey, do YOU have one? You could post yours! :) Who else do we know who has one that isn't posted, that could give permission? (That is an open question, not just for Josh)

Hi,
I figured I'd chime in on this one. :) Originally, we were going to release 1 a month (Jian's idea), in order to keep all the ravenous dogs out there salivating about the prospect of new material being released slowly. It would keep people coming back to FDC regularly (also Jian's idea). At this point, it's been so long since then, I have no qualms putting all of them up. I haven't done an FDC update in years, and I'm also wondering which place makes the most sense for them to be...Josh, could all of them be put on FHDC? Or should I put them all on FDC? Chris
Come on admit it. You just didn't want to give Lawrence permission to view the page. The rest of us could have.
Mike and Kelly SL is really Mike and Kelly SantaLucia sorry about that Lauren, you're not borin'Be careful what you wish for. ooh! ooh! I want a song! But all that rhymes with my name, I think, is mitochondria and hypochondria. :)
I know a girl name Andrea.
I love the times I can see her. All the girls wish that they can be her. All the boys they fancy her.
The first time I read this I thought you just abandoned the idea of rhyming my name. This time I wonder if you're trying to rhyme, but with the wrong pronunciation. :) I'm an ON-drea not an AN-drea. :)
Bad Gordon, no cookie.
Lovely, lovely, Andrea Can the fabled Khan see her? If enslaved would Gordon free her? Given the chance would Paula Zahn be her?
I was actually thinking of Kublai but if you want to think of Singh, that's fine with me.
because of fruvous I always use doorhinge to rhyme with orange. :)
Hah.
There was a young lady named Sheryl Her eyes were as green a pure Beryl She complained about rhymes At appropriate times Good thing her name wasn't Merill. OK, I don't know if your eyes are green but they should be for the sake of the limerick.
I've seen your pics before and double checked before I posted that and still couldn't decide.
hahahahah cute. :) although, like andrea, it's the mispronunciation of my name. But that's probably how Fruvous would pronouce it anyway. *g*

Don't forget the trick Fruvous used in My Baby Loves A Bunch of Authors... "Who brought the cat? Would Margaret Atwood?" Or, for one with your name..
I'll go to the forum, and, once there, will post a rhyme for a fruhead named Sheryl Heh...sounds more like R+B, with me narrating my own actions in future tense. :) Anyway, there are probably quite a few combinations of one-syllable words that would rhyme with Sheryl.
Sheryl...
Makes me tear all... Hair all out... (not our Sheryl, of course ;-) In truth, I herald The arrival of Sheryl Refined, not feral, (There is no peril), Warm, and not sterile... Quite cute in apparel. These qualities, they're all The reasons I herald The arrival of Sheryl. Hee.
Andrea Krause, though Paul calls her Ani
has two little cats, one named Luna, one Coby Like most of ya'll, she lives much farther east-er Than me who lives next to the Mississippi River I see her but once a year under a tent In the summer where so many fun times are spent I'll wrap this thing up so to go back to working There are so many tasks up to now I've been shirking

Listen to the tale of Gordon WhoFru
the math professor who believes in an extra dimension or two He writes a daily diary unless he is to tirey(ok its a stretch) Gordon reads alot often books obscure but not lacking in plot Whether he is a creepy old man or just a fruvous fan His claim to fame grows as he is manager of the greatest band BATNOSE
Thank you, this is the first time time someone's written a song for me. Is it sung to the tune of "The Ballad of Jed Clampett?"

I lost my copy of these songs, and the link on this thread is long since dead. I just wanted to make one more plea the Fruvous community, to Mr. Woodward, to somehow make these songs available again. They're so amazing.
A selfish request, but I had to try. At least the Ortgiesen song? Thanks.
First of all, after listening to this, I'm surprised I did get a set of the songs. Does anyone have a exact total of how many were done?
I would like to work with someone on a complete set of non-album tracks, especially if the boys a) are cool with it; and b) they're not planning on doing something like this themselves
