Hi everyone - I was working on creating a new webpage for myself, and contemplated taking off my MF section. Yeah.I know. So, as usual, I put on some tunes, and rocked out. Oh the memories... ...and oh how I miss our guys so. I try to explain it others, but I've come to realize that only the people on this thread would understand. Hugs to all. Chelle
I had a resurgence today. I have a friend who's a drummer so I was talking to him about how Jian's kit was set up so he wasn't all typical back-of-the-band drummer guy. And that got me started on the nostalgia wagon and I started sending my friend tracks and am now going to make him a mix and I listened to Wood and some live stuff and I miss it all.
It's not the same, and the power's fading somewhat because I'm not in the thick of it all, but the memories are sweet and the music is still good.
sigh . . . . i miss them like crazycakes. And I wasn't even a Fruhead when it was happening.
I would, except for two things:
- I have nowhere near as much to miss as you all do. No real memories or anything. Mine's more a hope than a miss.
- I've got way too much music to catch up on to be listening to old stuff. :)
I had a very sad Frvous dream last night. Goovie, Pauley, and Jonathan Frakes were in it.
I have a recurring dream where I'm walking... and each stride I take is a little longer... til I'm bounding..... and then the bounds become little jumps.... and after a little while, I can take a step, and I fly for several hundred feet before landing again.
It's an amazing feeling.
awwwww. i hope i didn't do anything in the dream to make you sad.
By you using "bounding" now all I can picture is that weird Jackalope and sheep animated short.

Personally, I hope you got to make out with Jonathan Frakes.
Hell yeah, I miss those bastards! Er, I mean those jolly ol' lads. I, too, long for the fun days of the concerts and the late-night encores of red-eye and cheery spirited entertainment. Bring the boys back home! (Sorry, couldn't resist the other musical reference...)
Precisely why I logged onto Fruhead.com today (after sadly checking fruvous.com to see if there was any activity, as I do from time to time)! I miss Fruvous concerts SO much! A Fruvous show was the only thing that could consistently make me totally happy, no matter what else was going on in general or had happened that day (this was proven countless times!). I now have a 4-1/2 year old son who listens to Fruvous and loves them, and I'm so sad that he won't get to see a concert--he's very musically inclined and loves to dance, and he'd just love the show so much. Also, his name is Jared and he is so tickled to hear a song w/ his name! He's only heard it a few times and now knows more of the words than I do, and walks around singing it. I haven't really been keeping up w/ the FruCon info since the guys stopped playing together and I had kids (coincidentally around the same time)...have they come to FruCon since they stopped playing? That could just entice me up to Toronto... I totally understand what you are saying about the concerts... It didn't matter if I was up until 4am and had to get my butt into work at 6. There is/was NOTHING cooler than hanging out with your favorite band. God, I miss that! They were always so nice and FUN!!! The moreI hung out with the guys, the more I looked forward to the next show - even if it was 6 months away. It was like those few hours kept me going the rest of the time. Of course, I am a certifiable music junkie... When I was feeling a bit old or uncool, I just threw in a FruAlbum, and that was it. I was psyched again. I miss that. A lot. I've tried to get into other bands, but they just don't have "it"... Whatever it is...No one does a concert like the FruGuys... *sigh*
Hey... a bit of new FruTerminology... From this point forth, I declare this "missing Fruvous" feeling FRUCRASHING. hehe
If found, please call....
ok, someone wanna do a photoshop of a milk carton? :)
There is nothing more dangerous than a Frhead with time on his or her hand.
Except of course a wounded mosquito.
