OK...I'm Back!

OK...I'm back! Your favorite Geezer.���I used my internet name before...Shari. My real name is out there for you to know now...Marylee. I turned 49 on July 29th and my youngest is now 6. HELLO EVERYONE!!! I still can't get enough of Fruvous...and I think my collection has grown to around 27 now. I dropped off the site before because I couldn't get my pc to change from the front page in under 20 minutes and it was very discouraging...but for some reason it is working just fine now. My twins returned from a China tour with their Hendricks Chapel Choir a few months ago. They used to have an acapella group at their college in Syracuse called The Peculiars that did some Moxy Fruvous, some Bobs tunes...very hillarious stuff but they disbanded when members were graduating and leaving the area.

Over the past yr I have been recovering from a major bipolar breakdown and I am learning to function socially for the first time in my life. Everything is new and I feel great! I am finally getting my driver's lisence after many yrs of being afraid of the recklessness of other drivers. At last I am able to face my fears and punch my way through them and I have never been happier. I live in a city called Port Jervis NY that has a population of around 10,000 and very little good employment opportunies. I worked as a CNA in our local hospital for 11 yrs before suffering my breakdown and I am trying to figure out where I fit into the workforce now after being in my bipolar "tornado" for the last 7 yrs.

Nice to meet you as well! :) Are you attending a college? Just curious. I see you are involved in a Renn Faire out in NV. My twins took me to one here in NY for my first time ever and it was mad fine!...although I am sure not the best in the country. I had nothing to dress up in...you looked so sexy and sweet in your dress having fun with your friends. I really like your page of quotes as well...sounds like many fun times.

As far as unrequited love goes...it rules the earth...at least for now. You would think after 23 yrs more or less of being together two people would at least be decent friends...but life holds no happy endings. And the truth is that the only true sorces of "true love" are God and yourself. Happiness comes from within. Friends are the best but in the end you have to be the only one who will ever love you as you want to be loved. Physical attaction is a different story...but don't confuse the two or the heartache begins. Just a bit of wisdom at 49. Hehehehehehe...

Oh, I kind of like being the dinosaur around here. Shows I have good taste for my age and tons of character! Hahahaha

I am bulletproof. Have to grow a thick hide after this many years especially raising three grown sons who always bust on the fact that I am shrinking...or could it be that I fed them too well and grew giants?
