I like the nano but I've heard the screen scratches easily and the capacity is too small for me. :P

Just bought a regular ipod - 20 gig one. The nano is just too small for me fo sho. And I got little socks for my iPod and it's just so darned cute. *iPodLuv*

See, I LOVE the idea of flash vs a harddrive, though..... I'm just going to wait until the capacity is more.

So do I, but I'd like to see a larger capacity as well. My mini is 6 gigs...I think I'd be okay with 6 gigs of flash, maybe a little more.

The socks! They are adorable. I have this, in grey, and it's ugly. It also makes my iPod take up a lot more space...but I can drop it down a flight of stairs without incident, so it has its benefits.

yeah, same here. if they make a 30GB iPod nano, I'll buy it the minute it hits the stores. I'd say that's probably 2-3 years away. maybe a little less.

That's cute, but mine, I have all diff colors and it's like having a child without 9 months of hell and all the diaper changing. I just have to feed it electricity, dress it in cute socks, and spend much quality time. Lil' Sweeney is my perfect firstborn!

Throw a couple of those together, and you've got your 30 gig nano, plus an extra 2. :)

I totally want the 8 gig red nano, OMG!!1! Red is my favourite colour. :D

The 8 gig nano only comes in black.  The red (as well as the other colorful options) are only available in the 4 gig model.
The only reason I'd recommend getting the 8 gig (seeing as it's the same price as the 30 gig) would be if you plan on using your iPod while running or doing other high-impact exercise.

The 8 gig nano comes in black and, just recently, red, due to customer demand. The red one was announced last week. :)

What I like about the nano (I'm currently using a 1st generation 2 gig white nano that came free with my sister's MacBook Pro...I ordered it for her and she already had a new 60 gig so I claimed the nano, hee hee) is that it takes up so little room and weighs so little that I can stick it in my purse pocket and carry it around everywhere and it's like it's not even there. With my 3rd generation 40 gig iPod I found I was sometimes leaving it at home because I didn't have room for it or to make my bag less heavy, lol. Of course the newer ones take up less room and probably weigh a little less too but I still like the portability of the nano and I don't think I need to carry around my entire music collection anyway. That and it's so cute. :)

I have a Creative Zen Vision:M 30GB in Black that I just love. I'm looking into getting a flash player at some point and eying the Creative Zen V Plus or the Cowon iAudio U3.
