Six degrees of Moxy Fruvous

I think we did this sort of thing before but why not again. I'll start off by defining someone's Fruvous number. For anyone in Fruvous the Fruvous number is 0. Someone is linked with Fruvous if they performed on the same song either live or on a recording or cowrote a song with someone in Moxy Fruvous. Sharing a bill with Fruvous or someone in Fruvous doesn't count. Anyone who linked directly with Fruvous has a Fruvous number of 1. For anyone else the minimum number of people in the chain to get to Fruvous is their Fruvous number.

So my first question is What is Pete Best's Fruvous number? The best I can get is

Pete to George Harrison(The beatles duh) to Dylan (through the travelling Wilburys) to Joan Baez (They performed together many times) to Dar Williams (Dar sang "your aging well" and other songs with Joan) to Jian (They cowrote songs together. I should know which songs but I don't). That makes Pete's Fruvous number 5. Can you do better?

What are other performer's Fruvous numbers?

Wouldn't that make his number 4? By the logic of making 0 the starting point, his connection to George Harrison would be 0, not 1.
