I'm going tonight, though I saw the unfinished version twice.
Anyone else?

I saw it last night and all I can say is:
OMGWTFw00t!!BBQ!! uh, it was awesome! That is all.
right there with you.
i even dressed up, in this great kaylee-in-"shindig" dress i found at a vintage clothing store last month. and i was definitely not the only one in costume, either. waiting in line reminded me a lot of waiting in line for a frushow. as for the actual movie...i can't form coherent sentences yet.

I became a fan of Joss from the first episode of Buffy. I just can't see the appeal of Firefly/Serenity. Once again I feel like I'm from another planet.
and i feel about angel the way gordon feels about firefly and nate feels about buffy. :) different strokes for different folks, and so on and so on and scooby dooby dooby.
yeah. angel bores me to tears but i sit through it in case there's a crossover. :P (am currently working my way through buffy/angel, am on buffy 5 and angel 2) it's like watching Law & Order for hours on end, but with less interesting plots and no court cases.
oO I don't need to fight, to prove I'm right/I don't need to be forgiven Oo

what's firefly? and why is serenity so special in association with firefly? and what's this about an unfinished version?
neal had only seen two or three episodes, and our friend lisa, who went with us, had never seen it at all. and they both enjoyed it, altho obviously they didn't have as much invested in the characters as they might have if they'd watched the series.

Did anyone around here see it who hasn't seen the series first?
Me. Just came back...and wow. It was killer. I want to see it again. :D
now I've watched all of Firefly, I want to go see Serenity again
...now that I've seen Serenity, I want to see all of Firefly.
well, yeah, that was how I felt once I saw the movie. a problem I solved this past weekend, actually.
it's well worth the 12 or so hours you'll spend on it. assuming, that is, you only watch each episode once. and then you'll probably want to see the movie again, too. :)
True. But that's assuming I acquire it sometime soon...
well, certain things like that can be arranged. ;)
...dude....do you have to be the awesomest person ever *all the time?*

I'm going again tonight, after watching the series. i'm totally hooked and in love with Nathan Fillion, Sean Maher, Alan Tudyk, oh, and um, EVERYONE ELSE ON THE SHOW.
it's playing at a cheap theatre here in tucson. hardly a soul in the theatre. also freezing cold.
