Family Nicknames

What names do people in your family--and only people in your family--get to call you?
My mom - Peanut My dad - Andreak (pronounced andreack) because they had to smush it on my soccer jersey and it amused him to run it together. My sister - Anges Kanges (On-jess Con-jess)
I get called Rachel-Bachel by my mom. No one else. Because there's honestly nothing that rhymes with my name.
Hmm, I'll forget some, but I'll give this a go...
Daddy (Now that's funny. He's "Dad". Or "Pops" if I'm feeling silly, "Father" if I'm mad. But talking about his nicknames for me (which haven't changed since I was very small)? Suddenly he's "Daddy" again.) - Munchkin, or more commonly Puntkin/Pumpkin Mom - Mooch (See, this one I'll explain so no one thinks I'm a moocher. When I was small, I watched "My Little Pony." Before you think "Aha! She was Girly after all!" let me tell you I didn't really like any of the ponies. I watched it for one character only, the Magical Mystical Moochik. So Mom calls me Moochik, or more often just Mooch). Of course, she also calls me just about any random name/nickname that pops into her head, but Mooch is her special just her-for-me nickname. My Aunt Barb - Lacine, or Lacy-Levidicus, "My Real Daughter" My Grandma - Lady Elizabeth (Long story I'm sure I've told before - Mom sometimes calls me this too.) My Grandpa Rice (who I still miss often) used to call me MotorMouth and ChatterBox when I was little (and was the only person who could call me either without my getting offended). And I'm sure someone used to call me Lacy-Lucy, but I can't for the life of me remember who. Hm. That's really weird. I might have to ask Mom tonight, see if she can remember who it is. Also, a few people (all Mom's side, with the exception of Dad himself) sometimes call me "Little Bob" or "Bob Jr." (Or refer to what I'm doing as "being Bob") usually when I'm doing something outdoorsy or handy - this comes from my Mom's childhood family nickname of Bob, that she was given when she'd be helping Grandpa with like plowing snow out of the driveway and stuff. I've been known to proclaim proudly that I am "Bob, daughter of Mange, King of Molepeople." And now that I've reminded everyone how weird my family is, I'll, er, go do something else. :-)

Gord. We are all known by one syllable names
Dad, Mom, Al(ison), Sue (Susan), Gord(on). No one out of my immediate family ever calls me Gord. my two sisters from my mom's side, sometimes we call them by just their first initial, which is funny because they're Tracy and Annie, so they are, respectively, T & A :P but it's not uncommon to say "mom, where is T?" Annie is more likely to be called AB, because her maiden named started with B, but if i call her AB anymore she reminds me that she is now AM but that just doesnt quite have the same ring to it. Annie is only 4'10", and when our dogs were born, we named the runt Lil' AB because, well, it was the runt. A-B-kaybe!

My immediate family has always and most likely always call me Bibi.. when my sisters were in highschool it got to the point where half their friends didn't even know my actual name, and I had a rebellion. They stopped long enough for everyone to learn my real name and then started again. .. and now that I'm an aunt, I'll probablybe known as 'Tante Bibi'...

My sister calls me Googles. Or Seestor. Or seestor keestor. But mostly googles.
That's cause when I was little I was Gella-Goo. Also Gella-Bella. My mom taught my sister to sing to the tune of alouette "Gella Bella, little Gella Bella, I love her cause she's my little sis" Mom just calls me Goo, or goo-goo. My little brother calls me G. Papa Ray used to call me "Miss Gella."

Mom - Mantha [short for Samantha. She thought "Sam" was too masculine]

Missy, Meliss, Lissy, Lissabeth, Kiddo (Dad), Chicha (neice Emily), Issa the Iguana (sister Rachel), My seester (seester Sue), Chickie (Mom, as in "all my chickies are home!" when my sisters and I visit), SueRayMiss/RaySueMiss (Dad when flustered and forgets which daughter he's talking to. Always goes through all three).
When mom calls us Chickies, it's usually our cue to start saying "cheep, cheep", and then we play the "I kissed Mom last" game. She protests, but not too much... You must first create an account to post.
