So, how much do you have?
What do you do with it?
How much do you like on others?

Example:
I pluck upper lip hair, shave leg (usually just calf unless it's bathing suit time, and then thigh and bikini area, too) and underarm hair and trim other body hair as necessary.

My mom likes guys with a profusion of dark, curly chest hair, like Burt Reynolds. I like some body hair, but I'm not much of a fan of a guy who's totally covered.

I like facial hair on guys as long as it's neat.

i shave my pits and legs when i feel like it. i'm very lax about them. i get a brow wax every few months from an absolutely kickass stylist. that's about it. and i really dig goatees on most guys. yum. goatees.

I don't care much in regards to facial hair or chest hair. It's all fine as long as it's neat but I draw the line at back hair.
Talcott · 19 years, 9 months ago
Well, I'm not quite at Robin Williams level...
...yet ;-)

I would definitely count as fuzzy, but it's not quite "is that a person, or is that a walking shag carpet" level either.

Nor am I quite at a Wolverine/Logan level of fuzz, although I might not be far off. Hmm... he's also supposed to be about my height. Shorter even, I think.

I was pretty lucky to not have a lot of body hair to begin with, because I hate body hair on me.
Tori Rose · 19 years, 9 months ago
Smooth as possible. Shaving and waxing are a big part of my life.

I dont really care much for body hair on other people, but for the gents it can be quite attractive to have a little facial hair.

Ok... thinking of you as Wolverine instead of a hobbit? Really really freaking me out.

That might have to do with the beer, but... still. Dude.

i don't care. i go in and out with hair, or i try to, since my facial hair grows Really slowly (as does most of my hair, it's hereditary)
actually i count myself very lucky on being on a line of very hairless men. i'm not into the short and curlys. my father didn't get chest hair until he was like 35. haha, so i don't expect to have to worry about back hair.
well actually im not sure because in many ways i dont fit in with my family line. i'm like the first person on either side in like at least 3 generations to wear glasses before the age of forty or so (at the age of 15 to be exact). plus my hairline is pushed back quite a bit, especially in the corners, which is rare in my family of low hairlines, and absolutely ZERO baldness or partial baldness on either side, no matter what age. so i'm not sure what to expect.
anyway, as of now i dont have much hair, and i couldnt get Any sideburn fuzz as hard as i tried. i shave about once a month, haha, and it doesnt get very long at all. (although its beginning slowly to grow a Little faster.)
well anyway, on women, no facial hair, no armpit hair, and dont let the legs go without a shave for too long. when my girlfriend's legs are a little prickly she is neglectant to let me touch them, as much as i tell her its not at all a big deal.

Apparently women shave their legs for men and their armpits for other women...and I do find women to be mmore freaked out by armpit hair, though I don't see it as much of a big deal as I get older. I saw a girl in a youth hostel in Toronto wiht long and lustrous armpit hair and it looked great on her. On me I care less and less about what other people think, I prefer fuzz free legs because it feels nicer. On men, well I have a very hairy boyfriend, he even has the back thing and I don't mind. I used to have a probelm with chest hair when i ws younger but now i think if you love soemone you love their body hair...simple. Also completely waxed bikini lines are an attempt to look prepubescent which I think is kind of wrong. I mean if you want soemone to look there then you shoud really be a consenting adult...rambling now.
Talcott Back · 19 years, 9 months ago
Yeah, see, I'm the exact oposite.
I shave around 8am, and it's stubble by noon ;-)

Talcott Back · 19 years, 9 months ago
I could be Wolvebitt, or Hoberine.
That would account for the facial hair, which, if I remember right, hobbits shouldn't be able to grow.
siobhan's a londoner · 19 years, 9 months ago
further to my last rambling post. here is a quote from a guy called clem
"It's not fair my little brother grows hair where men should grow hair, he has a rug on his chest, another above his belly and another on his back...and he can grow a beard"
I like that "hair where men should have hair"
I'm also of the opinion that women shoudl have some hair! Yay for hair!
Oh and has any man posted yet who can gow hair everywhere except his face?
sheryls Back · 19 years, 9 months ago

when my girlfriend's legs are a little prickly she is neglectant to let me touch them, as much as i tell her its not at all a big deal.

I used to have this paranoia too, then i realized my boyfriends hands are quite calloused and he cant feel it the way i do, so i can get away with it for a little longer than i thought i could :D

nate... · 19 years, 9 months ago
I have fairly minimal body hair.... legs, arms... the hair on my head grows like a weed, though.
Facial hair gets scruffy part way through the day, and hair hair grows about 2 inches per month. :P

I tend to prefer shaved legs on women... but it's not a huge deal... and I don't really care about the rest.

K. D. Lurker Back · 19 years, 9 months ago

I don't mind hair on a guy, as long as it's not TOO much, but I prefer my legs shaved. I'm actually pretty lucky because my leg hair is very light, and I can get away with not shaving longer than most, but I still like the smooth feel of shaved legs. I also have a bit of very light, very fine hair above my upper lip, more like peach fuzz than hair; my boyfriend says he can't even see it unless we're kissing, but it still kinda bugs me. I'm afraid to risk shaving though for fear that a) it might grow back darker, and b) I might nick myself there. Which leaves electrolysis, but that would probably be too expensive (granted I've never looked into it).

This leads me to ask, have any of yougone the electrolysis routeor know someone who did?

*joolee* Back · 19 years, 9 months ago
but of course you can't grow it long again. *pines for long hair*
nate... Back · 19 years, 9 months ago
Not if I want to have a good job. :P

I hate stereotypes.

plasticsushi · 19 years, 9 months ago

well, i have a venus shaped scar on my left leg near the knee (more on the outside). i prefer shavy legs and pits, but on guys, i prefer not to think about the pits. hair on the head is good, usually. COLORED HAIR hair is best. but i am yet to seduce a blue haired boy. hm...that could be entertaining.

smoothy legs on clean sheets: could a girl ask for more?

Geoff Back · 19 years, 9 months ago
As far as chest hair goes, I have about 6 really long hairs growing around each nipple, but other than that, the cupboard is bare. I have some hair below my navel. My nose hairs are maddeningly robust. And the usual places. Oh, and I'm rocking a small goatee nowadays.

Dammit,I KNEW I would regret viewing this thread.

As it were, now I know TWO people with maddeningly robust nose hair.

Wait... what?
