Moxy Fruvous Cover Band

Dear Fruheads:

Did anyone ever thing about doing a Moxy Fruvous cover band?� Just think about the names you could have: Jockey full of Bourbon, Wood, Darlington Darlings, The Kings of Spain?� OK so that's my mad rambling mind running, but it's a good way to keep the music of a band we love alive.

Major Fruvous.

While I know of no current fruvous cover bands, a few a capella groups in upstate new york, and possibly other locations have done Gulf War Song and Fell in Love. FWIW, Jockey full of Bourbon is a Tom Waits song, and would therefore be inappropriate for a Moxy Fruvous cover band's name.

I've always thought of doing one, the most difficult part is getting enough musicians together close by who are committed enough and Fruvous fans enough to do such a thing and be able to cover all the parts.

Wait, you mean Moxy Fruvous isn't their own cover band?� I didn't realize these guys were actually SERIOUS! jejejejeje

There would be copyright issues. Or does that not matter?

Didn't you know that Moxy Fruvous was a cover band? They covered The Chia Pets and Dave. The reason they went on hiatus is that they had already covered all of the CPaD albums.
