I try to download the initial torrent file, and it keeps telling me it can't create the file. I've never had this problem before...although I haven't been doing this very long. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Probably that you're using a mac. ;)

so -no- funny. although, sometimes that is the problem. ;)

but, the upside to that is that i have never gotten a virus. ever. no one bothers to make macintosh viruses, i guess. or i just never get them.

naw, they happen... it's just not generally worth it to the psychos to make them, since it's such a small percentage that they'll hit.

They go for whoever is the largest user base.

You're just lucky to be in a minority. :)

FWIW: This is a good show. The crowd can be loud at times, but the Lazlo->Too Cold is stellar. Also, hearing a non-jazzy version of Boo Time is cool. Banter and improv is great.

I do have a BitTorrent client installed; the official mac BitTorrent one.
I checked out the FAQ, doesn't seem to answer my question. I have to go to sleep now, so I'll see what I can rig up in the morning.

ps- I really was struck by the setlist, it sounds like an incredible show. Too Cold is one of my favorites, and would love to hear it live, same goes for Boo Time.

I assume you've checked to see if you have enough hard disk space to create the file?

I assume 10 gig is enough...right? I don't have much on my computer. last time i checked, i did in fact have 10 gig to spare. on my 20 gig computer.

Yeah, the show takes up somewhere in the neighborhood of 600 MB. But that's after you've downloaded the whole thing. The torrent file itself is tiny.

I'm kinda flying blind here because I'm not a mac user, but I'll do what I can to help you out. :) First off, what OS are you using? OS X? If so, what version? Second, what is the exact error message? Finally, what browser are you using?

Yeah, that's what i thought. I mean, the torrent usually just takes a couple of seconds, it can't be that big.

I'm using OS X, yes, version 10.3.8 to be exact. The exact error message is...hold on, let me do it again. Ok, now it did actually download the torrent. Now I just have to see what happens when i try to do the torrenting...

OK...wow. It works now. I didn't do anything different, but now it just works. :)
